As a Senior Automation Test Engineer at United Airlines, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of enterprise software testing projects and programs with an automation-first approach. Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and executing automation test strategies and frameworks for all deliverables. You will collaborate closely with US Quality Managers and Quality Leads to ensure quality governance, risk assessment, and key metrics are met. Your problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment will be essential in this role. You will lead the design and implementation of automation and manual test strategies, collaborating with software developers, QE analysts, and system engineers to ensure quality from test planning to production deployment. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automation test strategies for various software and systems - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify system requirements and ensure quality standards are met - Own and maintain automation artifacts, tools, licenses, and frameworks - Manage and mitigate testing-related risks and issues - Identify testing KPIs, track trends, and create reports - Integrate automation frameworks with continuous integration and deployment pipelines - Improve the quality of automation test scripts for functional, regression, sanity, and end-to-end testing Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience - 4-6 years of experience in Software Automation - AWS Cloud Practitioner certification - ISQTB/CSTE or similar certification - Proficiency in test automation programming/scripting with tools for UI, API, and Desktop testing - Knowledge of Agile & Waterfall methodologies, Backend Testing, Release Management Processes, and Cloud Technologies - Experience in supporting DevOps CI/CD implementation - Ability to work effectively with distributed global teams and under time constraints Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree - Airline Domain Knowledge This position is offered by United Airlines Business Services Pvt.
