Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Head of Pre-Press (Typesetting) to oversee and manage all pre-press operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have expertise in typesetting, layout design, and typography , ensuring high-quality print-ready materials. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all pre-press activities , ensuring adherence to industry standards. Manage typesetting and layout for diverse publications such as books and magazines . Ensure accuracy and precision in typography and design elements. Utilize Adobe Suite, Microsoft Excel, and other pre-press tools for typesetting and formatting. Collaborate with key departments including Press, Post-Press, Dispatch, and Proofreading for smooth workflow. Implement operating procedures to enhance efficiency in the pre-press process. Required Candidate Profile: Experience: 3-7 years in pre-press/typesetting . Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Excel . Attention to Detail: Strong knowledge of typography, layout design, and formatting principles . Coordination: Ability to work closely with multiple teams to ensure seamless production.
