Admission Counsellor Location: Sion, Mumbai Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (any discipline) Experience Required: 2–3 years in admissions counseling or a related field Salary Range: ₹40,000 – ₹45,000 per month Gender Preference: Female Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Admission Counsellor to join our dynamic team in Sion, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing them with accurate information about our programs, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their educational journey. Key Responsibilities Student Engagement: Respond to inquiries from prospective students via phone, email, and in-person visits. Provide detailed information about courses, admission requirements, and career prospects. Conduct campus tours and organize informational sessions. Application Assistance: Assist applicants in completing admission forms and ensure all required documentation is submitted. Review student applications for eligibility and academic qualifications. Maintain accurate records of student interactions and application statuses. Counseling Sessions: Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to understand students' aspirations and guide them toward suitable programs. Address concerns and provide support throughout the admission process. Collaboration: Coordinate with academic departments to stay updated on course details and admission criteria. Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies. Data Management: Utilize CRM systems to track and manage prospective student data. Generate reports on application trends and counseling effectiveness. Qualifications and Skills Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. Experience: 2–3 years of experience in admissions counseling, academic advising, or a related field. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages. Ability to present information clearly and confidently. Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents. Empathetic and patient approach to counseling. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
