Administrator - L3

The purpose of the role is to resolve, maintain and manage clients software/ hardware/ network based on the service requests raised from the end-user as per the defined SLAs ensuring client satisfaction

• Key responsibilities

  • Manage and administer Windows Server environments, including server installations, configurations, and maintenance.
  • Assist in the management of Azure cloud services, including virtual machines (VMs), Azure Active Directory, networking, storage, and resource management.
  • Perform regular monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Windows Servers and Azure services.
  • Implement and manage Azure security features, windows firewalls, and access controls NSG/Storage.
  • Provide L2 support for Windows Server and Azure-related issues raised by users or other IT teams.
  • Handle patch management, backup, and disaster recovery, ASR procedures for cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with L3 teams on escalated issues and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Support IT infrastructure audits and security compliance initiatives.
  • Document configurations, processes, and resolutions for systems and applications.
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of new system upgrades, migrations, and projects.

  Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Windows Server administration (Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022).
  • Experience in Azure infrastructure, including VM provisioning, networking, storage, and security.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file-sharing protocols.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Azure AD Connect.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VPNs, DNS, firewalls, etc.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), or similar.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for coordinating with internal teams and users.

  Preferred Skills:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or other relevant certifications.
  • Experience with automation tools like PowerShell, Azure Automation, Devops , or similar.
