Job Summary We are looking for a Personal Assistant who can assist the company management & directors and help improve productivity. Responsibilities and Duties Typing Letters, taking dictation and following general instructions Screening phone calls and dealing with enquiries where appropriate Making appointments and planning their manager’s diary & calendar Organising and attending meetings; sometimes taking minutes and ensuring their manager is well-prepared for meetings Replying to emails, faxes and post Assisting with projects their manager might be working on by researching or writing reports Organising and maintaining office systems Standing in for their manager in their absence. Acting as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls managing diaries and organising meetings and appointments, often controlling access to the manager/executive Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation Reminding the manager/executive of important tasks and deadlines Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations and correspondence Managing databases and filing systems Implementing and maintaining procedures/administrative systems Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients Collating and filing expenses Miscellaneous tasks to support their manager, which will vary according to the sector and to the manager’s discretion Basic Accounting or Tally software knowledge Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications Discretion and trustworthiness: you will often be party of confidential information Excellent typing skills. Candidate must be very very fluent in English. Candidate must have very good knowledge of computers. Flexibility and adaptability Good oral and written communication skills Organisational skills and the ability to multitask The ability to be proactive and take the initiative Tact and diplomacy Communication skills A knowledge of standard software packages and the ability to learn company-specific software if required BA in English/ BSc. As a highly skilled Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent with expertise in corporate law, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and advanced accounting practices, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance, managing financial operations, and providing strategic financial insights to support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Financial Reporting: - Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and applicable regulations. - Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders. - Tax Compliance: - Manage GST compliance, including filing returns, reconciliation, and addressing queries from tax authorities. - Advise on tax planning and compliance related to corporate laws and indirect taxes. - Corporate Law: - Assist in corporate governance and compliance with the Companies Act, including statutory filings and maintaining statutory registers. - Provide guidance on legal matters impacting the organization. - Accounting Operations: - Ensure accuracy in bookkeeping and maintenance of accounting records. - Audit Support: - Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and documentation. - Implement internal controls to enhance the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. - Financial Analysis: - Conduct variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting to provide insights for strategic decision-making. - Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. - Advisory Role: - Provide financial and regulatory advice to management on various business initiatives. - Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate law. Qualifications: - Chartered Accountant (CA) degree or CA Equivalent - Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and corporate law. - Strong knowledge of GST regulations and compliance. - Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel. - Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
