Key Responsibilities: 1. Store Operations: Open and close the shop on time. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, especially in production (masala grinding/oil pressing) areas. Supervise and coordinate daily activities of store staff. 2. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Handle queries related to products like custom masalas, health benefits of oils, or grocery suggestions. Take and manage special orders for custom spice mixes. 3. Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed (raw spices, oil seeds, packaging, etc.). Track expiry dates, batch numbers, and maintain proper labeling (especially for masala and oils). Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement. 4. Sales & Billing: Operate POS system and ensure accurate billing. Upsell products by educating customers on product quality and health benefits. Maintain sales records and prepare daily/weekly reports. 5. Product Handling: Supervise in-house masala grinding and oil pressing units (if applicable). Ensure proper packaging and labeling of finished goods. Maintain records of production and ensure quality standards. 6. Marketing & Promotion: Assist in organizing in-store promotions, tastings, or offers. Collect customer feedback and suggest improvements. Support social media or WhatsApp marketing efforts if required. 7. Staff Management: Train and guide junior staff in customer service, cleanliness, and store discipline. Prepare shift rosters and manage attendance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in retail or grocery management (minimum 2–4 years preferred). Knowledge of spices, oils, and grocery products is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic accounting and billing knowledge. Computer proficiency (POS systems, MS Excel). Ability to handle pressure and multitask. Preferred Attributes: Passionate about healthy and natural food products. Detail-oriented and well-organized. Kannada language proficiency (plus English/Hindi as needed). Trustworthy with strong leadership qualities. Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM, 6 days a week – with weekly off

Key Responsibilities: 1. Procurement Planning: Forecast material requirements based on sales trends and production needs. Plan and maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. 2. Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers (for raw spices, oil seeds, groceries, packaging, etc.). Maintain healthy relationships with vendors and ensure timely deliveries. Regularly review vendor performance (quality, timeliness, pricing). 3. Quality Assurance: Ensure procurement of high-quality raw materials especially for spices and oil seeds. Coordinate with the store/production team to get feedback on quality and adjust sourcing accordingly. 4. Negotiation & Cost Control: Negotiate rates, payment terms, and delivery timelines to get the best deals. Keep track of market rates for spices, oils, and grocery items to make cost-effective decisions. 5. Inventory Coordination: Work closely with inventory staff to track stock levels. Monitor shelf life and expiry-sensitive products to minimize wastage. 6. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate purchase records, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and invoices. Ensure all purchases comply with food safety and business regulatory standards. 7. Budgeting & Reporting: Maintain and manage purchase budgets. Provide regular purchase and cost analysis reports to management. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in procurement (preferably in food/FMCG sector). Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Good knowledge of spices, oil seeds, groceries, and seasonal price trends. Proficient in MS Excel and basic inventory software. Preferred Attributes: Attention to detail and cost-conscious. High integrity and strong sense of accountability. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Knowledge of local markets and wholesale mandis is a plus. Work Hours: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM, 6 days a week
