Key Responsibilities: Develop responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue). Implement ADA/WCAG accessibility standards in all UI components and ensure compliance throughout the development lifecycle. Conduct regular accessibility audits using tools like Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, or manual testing with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver). Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure accessible design from wireframes to final implementation. Advocate and educate cross-functional teams on accessibility best practices. Stay current with accessibility laws, guidelines (WCAG, Section 508), and technologies. Contribute to documentation of accessibility standards and reusable components. Participate in code reviews and ensure ADA compliance is part of the development pipeline. Required Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as a front-end or UI developer. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and one or more modern JS frameworks (React preferred). Demonstrated experience with accessibility tools, guidelines (WCAG 2.1/2.2), and testing methods. Strong understanding of semantic HTML, ARIA roles, and keyboard accessibility.
