Actuarial Modelling & Valuation - Life, US Insurance

In this role at EXL, you will be utilizing your 4 years or more of experience in the life actuarial domain. Your primary responsibilities will include actuarial modeling using software such as GGY-Axis, MGALFA, Prophet, Polysystems, or any other actuarial software. You should also have experience in Python and valuation according to USGAAP standards. As part of your role, you will be required to have a good understanding of life and annuity cash flows and a natural inclination towards actuarial modeling and data handling through Python. Having cleared at least 6-9 actuarial exams will be essential for this position. Your key responsibilities will involve: - Having a complete understanding of the current state of affairs and problem statements - Interacting with clients regularly to understand their requirements and translating them into business frameworks while providing actuarial solutions - Working on transformation and automation initiatives - Building actuarial models for life insurance products - Conducting various testing such as UAT testing, Unit testing, and regression testing for actuarial model testing and validation Additionally, you will need to have advanced life insurance and actuarial knowledge, strong technical and analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. Your role will also involve contributing towards new business development by assessing clients" pain areas and generating solutions for them. Identifying and participating in continuous improvement initiatives will be part of your responsibilities, along with ensuring compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.,
