Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, support, and solutions to end-users. The role involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues to ensure smooth IT operations. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. Provide technical support for operating systems, software applications, and hardware. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and resolving hardware/software faults. Respond to queries via ticketing system, phone, email, or in person. Ensure timely resolution of issues and escalate complex problems to higher-level support when needed. Perform system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory. Assist with setup of video conferencing, remote support, and collaboration tools. Maintain IT documentation, asset inventory, and service logs. Provide basic training and guidance to users on IT systems.
