As a member of our team at Decathlon, your primary responsibility is to deliver a WOW Customer Experience by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and recommending the right products and services. You will play a key role in promoting sports and building connections through sports communities and events. Utilizing all available channels, including in-store, online, and the app, you will ensure that customers have a seamless and satisfying shopping experience from start to finish. In addition to focusing on customer satisfaction, you will also be responsible for maintaining a WOW Layout within the store. This includes ensuring that the store layout is safe, engaging, and attractive for customers, making it easy for them to browse, try out products, and make purchases. By keeping inventory updated and highlighting Decathlon's product offerings, including circular economy initiatives like buyback and second-life products, you will contribute to driving business growth through effective merchandising strategies. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that you will be measured on include customer metrics such as new customer growth, customer satisfaction, business metrics like stock availability and sales from omnichannel, as well as people metrics such as skill competency and team contributions to local sports projects. To excel in this role, you are required to have core skills such as customer service, product knowledge, stock management, commercial dynamism, and layout management. Additionally, developing complementary skills in areas like store security, checkout operations, and participation in local sports projects will be beneficial for your growth within the company. Qualifications and experience that we are looking for include a passion for sports, strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, and a basic understanding of digital and omnichannel sales. While previous retail experience is preferred, it is not mandatory. In terms of growth opportunities, you can expect to progress from mastering core skills to taking on additional responsibilities such as Daily Manager or Local Sports Project Leader in the medium term, and eventually growing into leadership positions within Decathlon in the long term.
