Are you a Noise and Vibration Engineer with 3-10 yearsexperience in a consulting engineering environment RWDI is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team at our Trivandrum office as an intermediate Intermediate Engineer with a primary focus on Noise, Acoustics and Vibration The role includes but is not limited to: Conducting and guiding others to perform field noise and vibration measurements Outlining a scope of work for new projects and preparing fee proposals Conducting environmental noise and vibration assessments autonomously Performing computer modelling using SoundPLAN or CadnaA Designing effective noise and vibration mitigation measures Guiding small teams for larger projects Developing working relationships with clients Meeting and exceeding client expectations and project milestones Writing clear and concise technical project reports on large and small projects Providing advice on technical problems and following the appropriate QA/QC Procedures, Job Requirements Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Civil, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or Environmental Engineering/Science, or a related technical discipline, preferably with some focus on acoustics, noise and/or vibration Demonstrated experience in acoustic design, environmental noise and vibration engineering and relevant testing instrument In depth understanding of noise guidelines, noise modelling techniques, and calculations Experience working on international projects in a multidisciplinary design environment Track record of developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients Ability to successfully meet schedules and control costs Demonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving methods/capabilities, exceptional coordination and consultation skills An ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment to provide practical solutions with minimal supervision, while multi-tasking to meet deadlines Advanced writing skills including experience preparing consultative reports Possess or be eligible to obtain registered Chartered Professional Engineer status during your career, Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience: Advanced level Microsoft Excel and Word capabilities Intermediate level user of CadnaA, SoundPLAN, EASE or similar software Intermediate level user of AutoCAD and reading Engineering Drawings Preferable, Intermediate level user of ArcGIS, QGIS or similar GIS package, Candidates Should Also Possess Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Strong people and team working or collaboration skills An ability to work in a fast-paced team environment Exceptional organizational capabilities
