As a Product Development .NET Engineer / Lead, your responsibilities will include: Developing, enhancing, and maintaining backend systems using ASP.NET, .NET Core, and C#. Designing and implementing efficient and secure Web/REST APIs. Utilizing .NET Core Entity Framework to interact with databases effectively. Writing and optimizing complex LINQ queries for data retrieval and manipulation. Applying SOLID principles consistently in your code designs to ensure maintainability and scalability. Contributing to discussions around software architecture concepts and design patterns. Practicing Clean Architecture principles and implementing Dependency Injection (DI) for modular and testable code. Adhering to and promoting coding standards and best practices in .NET. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Required Skills. 6+ years of proven hands-on experience in ASP.NET, .NET Core, and C#. Strong experience in designing and implementing Web/REST APIs. Proficiency with .NET Core Entity Framework and LINQ queries. Demonstrable expertise in database schema design and advanced SQL querying. Solid understanding and practical application of SOLID principles. Familiarity with various software architecture concepts. In-depth understanding of Clean Architecture and Dependency Injection (DI). Demonstrated knowledge of coding standards and best practices in .NET. Bonus Points (Nice to Have). Working knowledge of React or similar modern frontend frameworks. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like GitHub. Proven ability to understand complex project requirements and develop intricate logic. Key responsibility areas: Executing onsite client facing BFSI engagements with a focus on the following: § Evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, and controls § Assist in the development of audit work programs, and RACMs (key risk and control indicators) § Review and development of risk ratings and heat maps § Review and perform detailed Root Cause Analysis of critical events/ losses. § Assist in assessing risk, defining observations, and developing appropriate corrective actions. § Evaluate changes in regulatory requirements and ensure clients business processes are enabled to ensure compliance. § Perform and control the full audit cycle including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable regulations. § Prepare audit reports and undertake discussions with respective stakeholders for report closure. § Prepare audit & risk committee MIS & packs for presenting to the various Board level committees. § Develop strong relationship with key stakeholders by addressing concerns in a timely manner. § Keep abreast of latest regulatory & risk management techniques and industry best practices. § Undertake data analytics across large data sets and present findings relevant to the underlying subject area.
