About the job: At Achilles' Heel, footwear is not just fashion it's art, craft, and attitude. We're looking for a Fashion Assistant/Junior Designer who lives and breathes style, has a sharp eye for detail, and can thrive in a studio where cobbled streets meet couture. If you're someone who can sketch, style, paint, and still be comfortable brainstorming reel ideas this role is your runway. What You'll Do: 1. Collaborate with the founder to create seasonal collections aligned with brand aesthetics and luxury trends. 2. Develop detailed technical drawings & client specifications (training in taking foot measurements will be provided). 3. Assist in painting, finishing, patina development, colors, and patterns. 4. Research and present moodboards & style directions based on global fashion cues. 5. Participate in client fittings and ensure product quality & fit with artisans. 6. Coordinate with the Social Media Team for: - Shoot ideation & styling. - Prop selection, set aesthetics, and on-shoot assistance. - Translating design stories into visuals for reels, posts & campaigns. - Contribute your ideas fearlessly in brainstorming sessions with the founder. 7. Manage client foot data & archives: - Capture and organize client foot measurements, images, and order details in structured folders. - Maintain a digital & physical record system for ongoing and future references. 8. Assist in foot analysis: - Study patterns in foot shapes, sizes, and issues across clients. - Help create fit charts & reference guides to streamline future orders for clients with similar foot profiles. 9. Ensure client data is confidential, organized, and always accessible for design & production. 10. Studio & Store Management: - Oversee the daily upkeep and presentation of the Achilles' Heel Atelier (clean, organized, visually on-brand). - Manage inventory of shoes, accessories, fabrics, and props for shoots. - Coordinate with artisans, vendors, and logistics partners for timely order completion and delivery. - Welcome clients with professionalism and ensure fittings, trials, and consultations run smoothly. - Handle basic store documentation receipts, client folders, and order tracking. Bonus: Understanding of Leather and Footwear Bonus: Knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets or basic data visualization for client foot charts. Who can apply: Only those candidates can apply who: have minimum 1 years of experience Salary: ₹ 2,50,000 - 3,00,000 /year Experience: 1 year(s) Deadline: 2025-09-26 23:59:59 Skills required: Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator and Fashion Designing Other Requirements: - Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design or Styling (FDDI, NIFT, NID, Pearl, FAD, etc. preferred but not mandatory). - Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, Photoshop (bonus: Canva, Pinterest moodboards). - A sharp sense of style, color, and menswear aesthetics. - Well-dressed & well-spoken — you are an ambassador of the brand. - Comfortable on fast-paced shoots, able to coordinate with clients, photographers, and stylists. - Passionate about luxury fashion, design detailing, and storytelling. - Strong sense of organization & discipline — you know where every last swatch, sole, or shoelace is kept. - Presentable and client-facing — able to host fittings and manage client experience in the atelier. - Comfortable multitasking across design, data, and store management.
