As a Power Electronics Engineer at our young EV startup based in New Delhi, you will play a crucial role in integrating advanced energy systems into two-wheelers. Our mission is to bring innovative technology to the Indian market by designing, prototyping, and scaling our solutions. In our dynamic and resource-constrained environment, we value individuals who thrive on solving challenging problems and are passionate about hands-on hardware development. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the design, implementation, and testing of a hybrid power subsystem for EV applications. This will involve designing and validating high-power DC/DC - AC/DC converter stages, working with MOSFET and IGBT switching devices, developing embedded control algorithms on MCUs, and overseeing schematic, PCB layout, and component selection for power circuits. You will also be responsible for testing and debugging prototypes, collaborating with team members and CAD designers, and maintaining documentation for future patents and scale-up. To excel in this role, you should have a B.E./B.Tech degree in EEE/ECE or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in power electronics. Strong knowledge of DC/DC conversion, BMS basics, switching devices, and control loops is essential, along with hands-on experience in building and testing converters. Proficiency in embedded C/C++ for real-time control, familiarity with test equipment for high-power systems, and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment are key qualifications we are looking for. Preferred experience in EV/traction systems, regenerative energy capture, switching technology, EMI/EMC mitigation, thermal management, and rapid prototyping will be an added advantage. Exposure to startup environments, Formula Student projects, or resource-constrained R&D projects will also be beneficial. In return, we offer you the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that is yet to be commercialized in India, a key role in the core founding technical team, a transparent salary structure with potential for ESOPs/ownership, and direct involvement in MVP building, patent development, and real-world testing. If you are excited about building real hardware, bringing innovative solutions to life, and being part of a pioneering team, we encourage you to apply for this role.,

You will be responsible for defining and owning the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for power electronics systems. This includes leading the design, simulation, prototyping, and validation of high-efficiency rectifier and DC-DC converter systems ranging from 10 kW to over 5 MW. Innovation in cost-effective, scalable, and high-efficiency power conversion for electrolyzer stacks will be a key focus. Collaboration with mechanical, thermal, and systems engineering teams will be essential to co-optimize packaging, cooling, and integration. You will also be tasked with recruiting, mentoring, and leading a multidisciplinary team of power electronics engineers and technicians. Managing relationships with component vendors, contract manufacturers, and external design partners will be part of your responsibilities. Ensuring compliance with relevant grid codes, EMC/EMI standards, UL, IEC, IEEE, or other regulatory frameworks is crucial. Working closely with Product, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to align technical goals with commercial requirements will be necessary. Supporting the development of internal and external IP strategy in power electronics and system design is also a key aspect of the role. You will guide the firmware architecture, coding standards, testing, and release processes to ensure high reliability and maintainability. Close integration of firmware co-development with hardware design for optimal system-level performance will be required. Collaboration with systems and stack engineering to align control strategies with electrolyzer operational requirements is another important aspect of this position. Desired candidates for this role should have a Masters or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on power electronics. A minimum of 18 years of industry experience in power electronics, including at least 5 years in leadership roles, is required. Deep understanding of AC-DC and DC-DC conversion topologies, especially in multi-kilowatt to multi-megawatt power classes, is essential. Experience with medium voltage systems and safe, reliable system design in those domains is preferred. Proven success in delivering modular, scalable, and high-efficiency electrical architectures under cost and performance constraints is highly valued. Hands-on experience with digital control systems, gate drivers, magnetics design, and thermal management will be beneficial. Strong familiarity with grid-connected systems, such as solar PV inverters, battery energy storage, or similar technologies, is an advantage. Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are necessary for this role.,
