As an AI Software Automotive Principal Engineer at Qualcomm, you will be at the forefront of technology innovation, pushing boundaries to enable next-generation Automotive experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on experience in delivering high-quality software solutions, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams globally. Key responsibilities include contributing to the evolution of Automotive chipsets, focusing on Automotive Functional Safety, AI Model Onboarding & Performance tuning, and Chipset bring-up for new Automotive platforms. You will drive deliverables, collaborate with stakeholders, lead a team, and mentor team members to achieve professional growth. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Computer Science or related fields, with 18+ years of Software Engineering experience and 15+ years of experience in Programming Languages such as C, C++, Python. Desirable skills include Automotive experience, Embedded software development, proficiency in C/C++/Python programming, and knowledge of software development processes like Automotive ASIL-A/B.
