Job Description

Job Title: AR Caller

Location

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to insurance companies (payers) in the U.S. to follow up on outstanding medical claims.
Review and analyze unpaid or denied claims and work towards resolution.
Understand and interpret explanation of benefits (EOB), remittance advice (RA), and denial codes.
Take necessary action on accounts including appeals, re-submissions, and escalations.
Document all actions taken in the billing system clearly and concisely.
Work collaboratively with billing and coding teams to reduce aging AR.
Meet daily/monthly targets for productivity and resolution rate.

Requirements:

Good understanding of the US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process, especially AR follow-up.
Knowledge of insurance types (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, etc.) and denial codes.
Strong verbal and written communication skills (neutral accent preferred).
Proficiency in working with billing software and Microsoft Office tools.
Willingness to work in night shifts or US time zones.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
