As an Accounts & Finance Analyst at the Steel Plant in Ingur, Erode, Tamil Nadu, your role will involve various key responsibilities: Role Overview: You will be responsible for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), where you will prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with business goals. Additionally, you will analyze financial performance, variances, and trends to provide valuable insights for strategic decisions. You will also be expected to provide financial insights and risk analysis to the top management. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure timely closing of books and preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. - Ensure statutory compliance with financial regulations such as the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, etc. - Monitor and manage cost centers, working capital, and operating expenses effectively. - Collaborate with operations/plant teams on cost analysis, inventory valuation, and pricing strategies. - Handle timely and accurate filing of direct and indirect taxes including GST, TDS, and corporate tax. - Manage cash flows, fund flows, and maintain banking relationships efficiently. - Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors to ensure compliance with audit and control requirements. - Support the CFO in making strategic finance decisions and liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies. Qualification Required: - CA / CMA qualification is preferred, although freshers or candidates with intermediate qualifications can also apply. - Good knowledge and experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint will be beneficial for this role. This role will also involve stakeholder coordination, where you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the finance function effectively.
