Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Accounts Executive to join our dynamic finance team at Starlite Hotels (P) Ltd. As a key member of our Finance and Accounts department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial operations of our hotel and construction businesses run smoothly. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for finance to grow with a reputed organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, reports, and statements in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for hotel and construction projects.
• Process payroll, tax filings, and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, expense tracking, and cost control measures.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle GST, TDS and other taxation-related tasks efficiently.
• Utilize accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) for accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of proven experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the hotel, construction, or similar industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation (GST, TDS, etc.).
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or equivalent) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Age not above 40 years.
