As an Accounts Controller, your main responsibility will be to develop receivables management and implement robust processes/systems in the finance function to ensure seamless information flow and improved process controls. You will work towards aligning unit-level finance activities with corporate finance objectives and monitor accounting policies in compliance with standards. Additionally, you will oversee fund management, working capital, and cash flow forecasts. Your role will also involve driving automation and system-enabled process reengineering for financial tasks and ensuring the seamless adoption of refined financial processes. You will be responsible for managing and improving billing, debt collection, and sales ledger processes. Ensuring statutory compliance, timely closure of accounts, and conducting reconciliation of books of accounts will also be part of your duties. You will need to implement audit recommendations and provide monthly reports, including aged debtors, expense variance, and MIS. Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring cost savings, and driving cost and budgetary controls to support financial commitments will also be crucial aspects of your job. You will be required to develop credit policies, manage debtors efficiently, and focus on team leadership and development. Building a performance-driven culture, managing team performance, providing growth opportunities, and engaging in talent development initiatives will be essential for success in this role.,
