Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:

The Accounts Assistant will support the Accounts Department in day-to-day accounting operations, data entry, documentation, and financial record maintenance to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally/ERP software.
• Handle purchase, sales, expense, and journal vouchers.
• Prepare and maintain cash book, bank book, and petty cash records.
• Assist in preparing GST, TDS, and other statutory reports.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers.
• Support in preparation of monthly and yearly financial statements.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for invoice processing.
• Ensure timely filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist auditors during internal or statutory audits.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹11,000.00 per month

Application Question(s):

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / MS Excel / MS Office.
• Understanding of GST, TDS, and basic tax compliance.

• Accounts: 1 year (Preferred)
