You will be joining Booking Holdings during a Finance Transformation initiative aimed at enhancing finance/accounting support, governance, and efficiency. As the Corporate Senior Accountant in the Global Business Services team, reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager - India, your key role will involve managing accounting activities for various BHI entities, collaborating with personnel at different levels, and engaging with internal and external auditors. Your responsibilities will include overseeing accounting tasks for corporate close processes, such as daily cash, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, accruals, and more. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly corporate close activities, support statutory and US financial audits, and handle monthly (quarterly, annual) closing tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing financial reports, variance analysis, and ensuring compliance with Sox framework. Moreover, you will reconcile ERP to consolidation tool monthly, deliver internal and external financial reporting with integrity, manage SOX documentation, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Collaborating with key finance departments and engaging in ad-hoc projects will also be part of your role. Key qualifications for this role include a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, solid Accounting Knowledge, familiarity with US GAAP/IFRS and SOX, and project management experience. Effective communication, collaboration skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment are essential. Experience with SAP, Blackline, OneStream, or Hyperion Financial Management is preferred.
