Job Description

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned properties, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger accounts, and property-level transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Process accounts payable and receivable, including vendor payments, resident rent collections, and expense coding.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for property operations.
Prepare and submit financial reports to property owners, management, and corporate stakeholders.
Support audits by providing documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
Monitor and report on delinquent accounts, collections, and bad debt.
Collaborate with property managers to resolve billing issues, track lease terms, and ensure proper revenue recognition.
Maintain accurate records of leases, contracts, and supporting documentation.
Assist with year-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and tax reporting.
Stay current with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
