Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our furniture store. The candidate should have at least 1 year of accounting experience and be capable of independently handling routine accounting operations, financial records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.
• Prepare sales invoices, purchase bills, vouchers and other financial documents.
• Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable and customer/vendor ledgers.
• Manage GST-related accounting, tax invoices and assist with GST returns and compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliation and maintain cash, bank and petty cash records.
• Track daily sales, expenses, collections and outstanding payments.
• Coordinate with store and management teams regarding billing, purchases and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, expense reports and other management reports.
• Assist with stock and inventory reconciliation in coordination with the store team.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in retail, furniture or trading businesses.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles and bookkeeping.
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS and invoicing.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Ability to manage accounts independently and maintain accurate financial records.
• Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Candidate

A candidate who can independently manage the complete day-to-day accounting operations of a furniture retail store with minimal supervision.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
