Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

General Accounting:

Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, such as data entry, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial reports as required.
Support the accounting team in various financial tasks.

Cheque Book Management:

Maintain and update the company's cheque book register.
Ensure timely issuance and reconciliation of cheques.
Coordinate with the bank for cheque book requests and related queries.

Rental Follow-up:

Track rental payments and ensure timely receipt.
Follow up with tenants for overdue payments.
Prepare and send rental notices and receipts.
Maintain accurate rental records and generate reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks.
