Job Description

Role Overview:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The role involves working closely with internal teams, auditors, and stakeholders to support smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, trial balance, and reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Manage payroll processing and related compliance.
Monitor cash flow, banking operations, and petty cash management.
Support internal and external audits by providing required documents and clarifications.
Identify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial data.
