Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

Handle basic accounting tasks including journal entries, ledger updates, and expense booking.
Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.

2. Taxation: GST

Prepare and file GST returns including
GSTR-1
and
GSTR-3B
.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of GST-related documentation.
Maintain GST records and support in resolving GST-related queries.

3. Income Tax Compliance

Prepare and file
Income Tax Returns (ITR)
for individuals or businesses.
Maintain supporting documents for tax computation and filing.
Assist in tax audits and related documentation.

4. ROC Compliance (Good to Have)

Support the team with
ROC filings
and related documentation.
Assist in maintaining statutory registers and compliance reports.
Coordinate with external consultants when needed.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Knowledge of GST laws and return filing procedures.
Experience in preparing and filing ITRs.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Preferred:
Exposure to ROC filings.
