Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor and reconcile petty cash, vendor accounts, and employee reimbursements.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
Maintain records of invoices, vouchers, and other financial documents.
Support in payroll processing and related statutory compliances (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
Liaise with banks, vendors, and internal departments for financial transactions.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (Masters degree or CA Inter preferred).
5–7 years of experience in accounting and finance operations.
Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / SAP / any accounting software.
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
