Job Description

You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping, tax compliance, and financial reporting for our clients, as a detail-oriented and experienced US and UK Accountant. Your expertise in US GAAP/UK GAAP, tax laws, and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms will be essential for this role. In addition, you will need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with international clients. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and preparing and filing US (Federal & State) or UK (HMRC) tax returns for individuals and businesses. You will also assist in tax planning, provide advisory services, generate financial reports, and offer insights for business decision-making. Furthermore, you will support clients in budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, financial audits, and compliance reviews. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is preferred. Ideally, you should have at least 1 year of experience in US/UK accounting, bookkeeping, and taxation. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or other similar tools is required. You should possess a strong understanding of US GAAP/UK GAAP, tax laws, and financial regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills are key attributes for success in this role.,
