Accountant

As an experienced Accountant, your role will involve maintaining all accounting entries in Shkun / Vipha Software, focusing on sales, purchases, and journal entries specific to hospital operations such as OPD/IPD billing, diagnostic services, and pharmacy transactions. You will be responsible for keeping books of accounts, ledgers, and journals in compliance with Indian accounting standards and hospital policies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Entering and tracking daily transaction data (DTA entries) to assist in monthly closing and reporting - Maintaining inventory records for medicines and consumables in coordination with the pharmacy or stores department - Coordinating with auditors during periodic audits and preparing all necessary financial documents - Ensuring compliance with applicable state and central tax laws and internal hospital accounting procedures - Having knowledge of the GST Portal, TDS, and other relevant tax regulations - Demonstrating the ability to work both independently and in a team environment In addition to the job responsibilities, the company provides benefits such as cell phone reimbursement.
