In this role at Medtronic's Diabetes business, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and innovation of the company by supporting various financial activities. As part of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of accounts receivable and cash balances. - Work closely with Treasury to support bank reconciliations and identify incoming funds. - Contribute to month-end and year-end closing activities by preparing relevant reports and reconciliations. - Maintain compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards. - Support process improvements and automation initiatives within the cash application function. - Assist with documentation and provide support during internal and external audits. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation and standard operating procedures. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. - 2-4 years of experience in cash application, accounts receivable, or accounting, preferably in a shared service center environment. - Working knowledge of SAP (FI module preferred). - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
