As an Accountant in the Travel Industry based in Dehradun, your role will involve managing daily accounting operations using Tally Prime, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, handling GST filings, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing financial insights to the finance team. Key Responsibilities: - Manage daily accounting operations including billing and purchase using Tally Prime. - Prepare financial statements and assist in month-end/year-end closing processes. - Reconcile accounts and ensure accurate reporting of expenses and revenues. - Handle GST filings with preferred knowledge. - Assist in maintaining compliance with local and international tax regulations. - Support the finance team in providing reports and financial insights. Qualifications Required: - 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the travel industry. - Strong proficiency in Tally Prime (billing, purchase, etc.). - Knowledge of GST filing preferred. - Commerce graduate from a recognized university.
