## Job Overview

Essencials is a five-year-old, Bangalore-headquartered company specializing in converting Capex to Opex through printer rental and managed print services for businesses. The Accountant and Operations Executive will handle day-to-day finance, billing, and backend operations to ensure smooth delivery of Essencials’ printer rental and MPS offerings.

Essencials provides printer rental services and managed print solutions that help customers reduce upfront capital expenditure and move to predictable operational costs.

## Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounts including sales, purchases, journal entries, and general ledger for printer rental and MPS contracts.

- Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing on rental / pay-per-page models, tracking collections, and vendor payments for printers, toners, and spares.

- Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, GST workings, TDS, and support statutory compliance in coordination with external consultants.

- Handle bank reconciliations, petty cash, and support budgeting and cash-flow planning linked to rental receivables and service costs.

- Coordinate with operations and service teams to ensure customer onboarding, asset tagging, and contract documentation are properly recorded and billed.

- Support preparation of MIS reports on printer fleet utilization, page volumes, customer-wise revenue, and cost analysis for management review.

- Assist in managing inventory of printers, cartridges, and consumables, including GRN, stock reconciliation, and vendor coordination.

- Liaise with customers for invoice clarifications, credit notes, and basic contract queries to ensure a smooth customer experience and predictable billing.

## Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- 2–5 years of experience in accounting; experience in rental, subscription, or service-based businesses is preferred.

- Proficiency in Tally or similar accounting software, and strong MS Excel skills for MIS and contract tracking.

- Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and standard Indian accounting practices for service companies.

- Strong attention to detail, ownership mindset, and ability to coordinate with internal service and sales teams.
