The SAP FICO Consultant holds a crucial role in the organization by spearheading the implementation and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) solutions. Working as an integral part of the SAP project team, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into functional specifications to ensure that the SAP solutions align with the financial reporting and controlling needs of the business. Your collaboration with stakeholders such as finance teams, IT, and external vendors is paramount in streamlining business processes and enhancing operational efficiency. By conducting workshops, gathering requirements, and providing training and ongoing support to users, you will play a pivotal role in driving the successful adoption of SAP technologies within the organization. Troubleshooting issues, enhancing system functionalities, and contributing to project planning and execution will also be key aspects of your role. Your expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding the organization's financial health, aiding in the achievement of strategic objectives, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your contributions will be critical in achieving the company's goals. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and implementing SAP FICO solutions based on business requirements. - Collecting and documenting business requirements through stakeholder engagement. - Configuring the SAP FICO module to align with business processes. - Conducting gap analysis to identify necessary improvements in existing processes. - Developing detailed functional specifications for technical teams. - Conducting system testing, user acceptance testing, and resolving issues. - Providing training and support to end-users and finance teams. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration. - Monitoring system performance and recommending optimization strategies. - Staying updated on SAP FICO best practices and industry trends. - Assisting in data migration activities from legacy systems to SAP. - Coordinating with external partners for project delivery and support. - Facilitating workshops and meetings to communicate project status and updates. - Evaluating system enhancements and proposing solutions to stakeholders. - Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in SAP FICO consulting or implementation. - Strong understanding of financial accounting, controlling, and reporting. - Proficiency in SAP configuration and integration with other modules. - Experience with project management methodologies and tools. - Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. - Familiarity with data migration processes and tools. - Experience in conducting user training and support. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. - Certifications in SAP FICO or related qualifications are a plus. - Willingness to travel for workshops and project implementation as necessary. - Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage. - Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
