The Fabrication & Profile Cut Supervisor oversees the daily operations of metal fabrication and profile cutting processes manufacturing or industrial facility.This role ensures that production targets, quality standards,safety requirements.
Role & responsibilities Supervise Daily Operations Monitor CNC/VMC machine operations during shift. Job Allocation & Scheduling Assign tasks to machine operators as per plan. Machine Setup & Readiness Ensure proper tooling, fixture, and program availability. First-Part & In-Process Inspection Check dimensions and quality of machined parts. Production Monitoring Track output, minimize downtime, and meet targets. Manpower Handling Manage operators, helpers, and support skill development. 5S & Safety Compliance Maintain cleanliness and enforce safety procedures. Reporting & Coordination Maintain shift reports; coordinate with QC, Maintenance, and Planning. Preferred candidate profile Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Production / Tool & Die 1 to 3 years of experience in a machine shop environment Hands-on experience in CNC and VMC machine operation or supervision Exposure to tooling, fixture setup, offset setting, and basic programming Team handling and task allocation Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines Basic reporting and documentation skills
