Accessory Designer - Jewellery

As a Jewellery Designer at Joker & Witch / Teejh.com, your role involves conceptualization, trend research, sampling, and development of collection concepts according to the brand aesthetics and guidelines. You will be responsible for designing and sampling new collections in Western & Ethnic jewellery for both Joker & Witch and Teejh. It is crucial to ensure on-time completion of the collections for the season, based on the design calendar. Additionally, you will study the previous season's performance and trend predictions to design styles for upcoming seasons. Identifying new vendors and manufacturers for new design development, sampling, and following up with vendors to create final prototypes as per approved designs are also part of your responsibilities. You will be accountable for ensuring the quality of samples/production is excellent and managing any quality issues with the vendors. Taking ownership of collection launch & growth, working closely with the Co-founder, Design, marketing, and merchandising team for the launch of collections, and upholding and evolving the brand's design language across all collections are key aspects of your role. Mentoring junior designers and fostering a culture of creativity and excellence within the design team is also expected. Qualifications required for this role include: - Graduate from NIFT or any other design college with a keen interest & understanding in Jewellery/ Accessory design. - 0-3 years of experience. - Excellent communication & negotiation skills. - Proactive & High on energy. - Should be good at multitasking and ready to work in an intense startup environment. - Strong sense of fashion, keen eye for detail, and minimal, clean aesthetics. - Should be a team player & ready to take up new tasks. - Immediate joiners will be given preference.
