Responsibilities Understanding clients' needs and expectations, their business and industry, accounting and control systems, employees, company values and industry-related IFRS or GAAP and GAAS issues Developing and demonstrating an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology and tools Performing audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed. Identifying areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise. Researching technical accounting issues Developing industry expertise Preparing audit reports, and management letters Exercising professional skepticism, judgment and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals Provide supervision and development training for associates Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients Providingtimely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables Ensuring professional development through ongoing education Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem solving, initiative and timely completion of work.
