Additionally, you will ensure the overall delivery of the student experience and effective governance of the School. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering the School's vision, managing academic resources, providing leadership to academic staff, attracting and retaining talent, promoting research strengths, enhancing the quality of teaching provision, and fostering international academic partnerships. You will also be involved in financial planning, resource allocation, and supporting entrepreneurial activities within the School. Qualifications required for this position include an Academic Level 10 (Professor) and a PhD or equivalent training and experience. Essential skills and experience involve successful leadership of academic units, team building, strategic and operational management, financial planning, and change management. Personal qualities such as the ability to articulate a coherent academic vision, engage stakeholders, and motivate staff are also crucial for this role. The Head of School appointment is for an initial period of 4 years, with the possibility of renewal for an additional 2 years based on performance.
