Academic Specialist – AI ML Computational Biology & NGS Data Analysis

Role Overview:

• We are seeking

  PhD-level AI, ML, and NGS experts

  with strong academic and practical experience in computational biology and advanced biological data analysis.

This dual role involves:

• Training & Mentoring Students in

  AI/ML applications in biology, genomics, NGS data analysis, and multi-omics integration.

• Leading Research as a

  Principal Investigator

  (PI) for student-driven and institute-led projects.
• Contributing to

  CRO Projects

  , delivering client-ready, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver hands-on, advanced training modules in

  AI, ML, computational biology

  , and

  NGS data analysis.

• Supervise and mentor students through

  multi-omics research projects

  , ensuring high academic and industry standards.
• Drive CRO research deliverables, ensuring accuracy, innovation, and timely completion.
• Create custom bioinformatics pipelines integrating AI/ML for complex biological datasets.
• Stay ahead of

  emerging trends in genomics

  , AI/ML in biology, and computational technologies.
• Collaborate in curriculum development, research partnerships, and publication efforts.

Eligibility & Qualifications (Strict Criteria):

• PhD (preferred) in Computational Biology, Genomics, AI/ML in Life Sciences

  , or a closely related field. Exceptional postdocs may be considered.
• Masters degree holders will be considered only if they have extensive hands-on experience in both AI/ML and NGS data analysis.
• Candidates with only a general Biotechnology or Bioinformatics background will

  NOT be considered unless they meet the following conditions:

• Proven hands-on AI/ML expertise (model building, deep learning, machine learning for biological datasets).
• Strong experience in

  NGS workflows (RNA-Seq, DNA-Seq, metagenomics) and multi-omics data integration.

• Proficiency in

  Python, R, BioPython, Bioconductor, and bioinformatics/omics tools.

• Experience with

  cloud-based or HPC computational platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.)

  preferred.
• Strong mentoring and communication skills.
