You are an experienced and result-oriented ASM/CSM Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in the Educational Industry, specifically in Publishing, EdTech, Academic Solutions, and Training Services. Your role involves driving regional sales growth, managing institutional and distribution channels, and building long-term relationships with schools, colleges, educators, and channel partners. Your key responsibilities include developing and implementing regional sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, identifying new business opportunities, conducting market analysis, building and maintaining strong relationships with educational stakeholders, managing distributor/channel partner networks, providing excellent customer support, resolving client concerns, leading and mentoring a sales team, monitoring performance metrics, conducting training sessions, collaborating with the marketing team, tracking sales performance, providing strategic inputs for business growth, and recommending improvements to sales processes. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record of 8-12 years in sales and business development within the educational industry. You should possess a strong understanding of school/institutional sales, channel management, and academic buying behavior. Excellent relationship-building, networking, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills are essential. Proficiency in CRM tools, data reporting, and MS Office is required. Qualifications preferred for this role include an MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management. However, a Bachelor's degree with relevant educational industry experience will also be considered.
