As an Associate Editor in Computer Science at Springer Nature, you will be responsible for further growing the existing proceedings program in computer science in India. Under the guidance of the editorial director, you will actively identify opportunities from the market, coordinate outreach to potential conferences and academic societies, work with book authors, conference organizers, society leaders, and volume editors to establish publication cooperation with appropriate Springer proceedings series. Your role will involve overseeing the proceedings publication process and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Your key responsibilities will include identifying, soliciting, and evaluating book and conference proceedings proposals for publication in Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) from the computer science research community in India. Proficiency in English, proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and within a team are essential. You should also be willing to travel to domestic and international conferences as required.
