Academic counselor

The Academic Counselor is responsible for guiding students in choosing the right academic programs and career paths based on their interests, qualifications, and goals. The role involves handling inquiries, providing accurate information, assisting in the admission process, and ensuring a positive student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students and parents on educational programs, admission procedures, and career options.
• Handle inquiries received through calls, walk-ins, and online platforms.
• Understand student needs and recommend appropriate courses.
• Follow up with potential leads to ensure successful enrollment.
• Maintain detailed records of leads, follow-ups, and admissions in CRM or database.
• Coordinate with the marketing and business development teams for events, seminars, and campaigns.
• Meet and exceed monthly admission and counseling targets.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and maintain long-term student relationships.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 1–3 years of experience in academic counseling, student advisory, or educational sales.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide and motivate students effectively.
• Goal-oriented and capable of working under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
