ACADEMIC COUNSELOR

Location: Calicut

Experience: Minimum 6 months (counseling/academic/ ed-tech preferred)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counselor to join our team. The role involves guiding students on course selections, assisting them in understanding career paths, and ensuring smooth enrollment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Counsel students on educational programs, courses, and career opportunities

• Guide prospective students through the admission and enrollment process

• Follow up with leads generated through various channels (calls, emails, walk-ins, online inquiries)

• Build strong relationships with students and parents to support their academic decisions

• Maintain records of counseling sessions, inquiries, and conversions

• Work closely with the sales and academic teams to achieve admission targets

• Stay updated with industry trends, courses, and competitive offerings

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in counseling / academic advising / sales (education sector preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to understand student needs and suggest suitable courses

• Positive attitude, target-oriented, and team player
