Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and empathetic Academic Counselor to join our team at our Deccan, Pune branch. In this role, you will guide students and parents in selecting the most suitable educational courses and programs. You will explain why our institute is the best choice for their needs and assist in the admission process, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to enrollment. Key Responsibilities: Provide accurate and insightful guidance to students and parents regarding educational courses and programs suitable for their needs. Clearly articulate the benefits and unique features of our programs, demonstrating how they meet the academic and career aspirations of students. Demonstrate convincing ability and win the trust of prospects on behalf of our brand. Effectively close admissions by addressing queries, resolving concerns, and guiding prospective students through the enrollment process. Develop strong relationships with students and parents, ensuring a personalized and supportive experience. Handle admission paperwork and ensure that all required documentation is completed accurately and submitted on time. Utilize CRM systems to manage leads, prospects, and admissions records efficiently. Requirements: Proven experience in a counseling or sales role, preferably within the education sector. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and engaging manner. Prior experience in explaining and selling JEE and NEET courses is an advantage. Empathy and patience in dealing with students and parents, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Ability to effectively close sales and meet or exceed admission targets. Knowledge of educational programs and the ability to match them with student needs. Good communication skills in English and Hindi are required; Marathi communication is an advantage. Experience with CRM systems for managing leads and admissions records is a plus. Must appear personable and professional.
