The ideal candidate should come from a hotel background and possess a strong understanding of the Goa market. Additional essential skills include excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, leadership and team management, negotiation skills, effective time management and organizational capabilities, in-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, as well as strong networking and business development expertise. He or She will be responsible to; Drive corporate and travel agent room sales for the hotel, ensuring alignment with the propertys revenue goals. Understand the hotel’s overall business strategies, set sales targets accordingly, and develop action plans to achieve them. Review and update action plans and financial objectives on a quarterly basis. Identify and tap into new markets and business opportunities to boost overall sales performance. Represent the hotel at various events, exhibitions, and industry networking functions to promote brand visibility and sales growth. Implement all sales initiatives related to assigned market segments as outlined in the hotel’s marketing plan. Conduct daily sales calls and coordinate site inspection visits for prospective corporate clients. Ensure prompt and effective communication with clients and internal teams, building long-term professional relationships. Deliver consistently high service standards to customers, reinforcing brand loyalty and client satisfaction. Join sales team members on sales calls to secure new business and close deals. Manage operational elements of secured business including proposal generation, rate applications, contracts, and correspondence. Collaborate with the Revenue Manager to ensure negotiated rates meet the hotel’s financial goals. Work in close partnership with the Front Office team to maintain unified goals and seamless guest experiences. Accompany sales team on client visits to support account development and evaluate team performance. Identify training needs through performance data and team interactions, and recommend relevant development plans. Participate actively in all relevant departmental and hotel-wide meetings. Focus on acquiring high-value key accounts that align with company objectives. Strengthen relationships with existing clients and build new ones through sales calls, client entertainment, familiarization trips, trade shows, and more. Foster relationships within the local community to expand the hotel’s customer base and sales opportunities. Manage and nurture relationships with both internal stakeholders and external business partners. Develop new business accounts and prepare tailored sales proposals. Ensure continuous follow-up on all potential business leads to maximize conversion rates.
