Job Title: ABB 800xA Engineer Location: Bengaluru (Project-based commissioning roles may require travel or relocation as per project site requirements) Qualifications: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electronics & Communication (EC), or Instrumentation Engineering Key Skills: ABB 800xA, Control Builder, Strong understanding of automation systems and commissioning processes 800xA requirement Experience in 800xA logic development & commissioning in different customer sites. In-depth knowledge in 800xA and other areas like AC800M controller and its logic development in Control builder. Good understanding about 800xA alarms, events, Logs, Trends, PG2 graphic builder and other tools used in 800xA. Good understanding about different processes and BU libraries. Good understanding about 800xA installation on domain and workgroup environment. Basic understanding about windows domain, group policy, user configuration, firewall configuration etc... Basic understanding about networking, switch and router configuration. Proficiency in different fieldbus protocols like Profibus, HART, Profinet and Modbus . Responsibilities: Logic development and commissioning at various customer sites using ABB 800xA Hands-on work with AC800M controllers in Control Builder Knowledge of 800xA tools including alarms, trends, logs, PG2 graphics, etc. Install and configure 800xA in domain/workgroup environments Execute test cases, record test results, and report issues Work with BU libraries and various process control applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams during commissioning and support phases Technical Skills: Strong experience in ABB 800xA platform Understanding of Windows domain, group policy, and basic firewall configurations Knowledge of network fundamentals switch/router setup Familiarity with fieldbus protocols: Profibus , Profinet , HART , Modbus Preferred Candidate: Candidates with prior commissioning experience will be preferred Willingness to travel to customer sites for system installation & testing
