AC Technician

As an Air Conditioning Technician, your primary role will involve installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and components. You will be responsible for performing diagnostic checks to identify AC problems and ensure optimal functioning. Your tasks will include handling refrigerant refilling, leak detection, and addressing compressor-related issues. Additionally, you will need to replace or repair defective parts such as thermostats, motors, fans, and filters. Cleaning AC units, including evaporator coils, condenser coils, and other parts, will also be part of your routine. Key Responsibilities: - Install, inspect, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems and components - Perform diagnostic checks to identify AC problems - Handle refrigerant refilling, leak detection, and compressor-related issues - Replace or repair defective parts such as thermostats, motors, fans, and filters - Clean AC units including evaporator coils, condenser coils, and other parts - Ensure systems meet safety and environmental regulations - Provide customers with information on system care and maintenance - Maintain service records and complete job reports Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Technician or similar role - Certification in HVAC or relevant field is a plus - Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively Please note that this job is full-time with benefits including paid time off.
