Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – Computer Science to teach and mentor students of Class XI and XII (Matric Board) . The candidate should have a passion for teaching, strong subject knowledge, and the ability to make complex concepts easy and engaging. The role demands effective classroom management and a deep commitment to student development and academic excellence. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons in accordance with the Matriculation Board syllabus for Classes XI and XII. Teach core concepts including programming (Python/Java/C++), data structures, DBMS, computer networks, software engineering, and emerging technologies. Prepare lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, and assessments tailored to students' academic levels. Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and examinations as per the academic calendar and maintain student performance records. Integrate technology effectively into teaching methods, including use of smart boards, coding tools, and LMS platforms. Provide academic guidance and mentoring to students, including doubt-clearing sessions and exam preparation support. Foster a positive learning environment and maintain discipline in the classroom. Communicate with parents during PTMs and update them on student progress. Contribute to the school’s co-curricular and IT-related events, exhibitions, and competitions. Participate in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs. Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of Class XI & XII Computer Science Matric Board curriculum. Expertise in programming languages and practical applications. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to use digital tools and e-learning platforms. Patience, empathy, and a student-centric approach to teaching. Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators. Preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a senior secondary Matric school. Experience in curriculum planning, lesson delivery, and exam evaluation. Prior experience in preparing students for board examinations with proven results.
