We are recruiting an Evening Hygiene Operative to facilitate the provision of excellence standards of hygiene throughout the factory environment both internally and externally to contribute to excellent product quality. The Hygiene Team play a vital role in our business ensuring food safety and maintaining a safe working environment. Main duties and responsibilities of hygiene operative: Knowledge and Experience: Follow Standard Operating Procedures for completion of hygiene tasks Deep cleaning after each shift or when required, especially after processing lamb / beef in production hall. Follow HACCP (hazard analysis and critical control points) protocols: ensure cleaning practices align with food safety regulations. Cleaning surfaces - thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting floors, ceilings, and machinery in the slaughter hall and boning hall areas after production. To be health and safety conscious, using the correct PPE to prepare chemicals and carry out your hygiene duties. Support the need for change and actively get involved in continually looking for ways to improve performance Comply with all company procedures and codes of practice to ensure a safe and hygienic workplace To clean, separate and dispose of waste according to company policy To carry out general and specific hygiene duties in accordance with the methods and safe systems of work detailed on the cleaning instruction cards at the specified frequency. Able to work in a small team or independently; you will follow a cleaning schedule for the production lines, equipment, internal and external areas throughout the premises. Previous experience in the same or similar environment would be preferable however full training will be provided. Maintain a list of issues and ensure that they are managed and cleared in a timely manner using our internal management systems and processes. Commissioning of desktop and laptop hardware. Installing and testing operating systems and software applications as advised by the Head Office Support Team. Communicate with Head Office Support Team and other on-site department managers. Out of hours support. Candidate Requirements: The successful candidate will have proven experience within an IT support background and database technologies, i.e MS SQL Server. Be analytical with a technical skill and must be demonstrable through experience of introducing IT services. Be proactive, dynamic, motivational, collaborative and able to deliver results in a constantly changing environment. Be a team player with ability to be self-sufficient, you will possess strong planning and organisational skills along with the ability to be adaptable/flexible to changing business demands.
