You'll be part of the Automation SOM DevOps team, helping to drive innovation and efficiency across the board. Whats the Role As an ABBYY OCR RPA DevOps Engineer, you'll tackle complex production bot issues and major incidents with a high degree of automation and technology integration. Working closely with the business, you'll ensure seamless deployments of code fixes and continuously propose improvements to add value. What youll be doing Develop and train the OCR engine for different document samples within Shell. Liaise with respective Continuous Improvement Focal, and Project stakeholders as appropriate to understand the document layout & data extraction requirements. Analyze & develop suitable OCR Projects based on stakeholder requirements. Drive user acceptance testing, fix issues, and release for production after proper approvals. Understanding of Abbyy and Blue Prism integration, to support available use cases Drive high performance and business continuity of RPA as cloud services with modern SRE practices. Lead the design, development, and implementation of operational standards and capabilities for RPA services, enabling highly available, scalable, and reliable customer experiences. Conduct root cause analysis and incident management during outages, write and review RCAs, and use knowledge learned to improve RPA services, practices, and automation. Ensure new design standards are followed across all production scripts and promptly handle bug fixes. Drive issue resolution by taking ownership and communicating with stakeholders.
