ABAP Developer

You will be responsible for ABAP Development, including designing, developing, and maintaining custom ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces to meet business requirements. You will utilize the Classic BOPF framework to create and manage business objects efficiently, ensuring robust application performance. Additionally, you will develop and support solutions within the SAP Transportation Management (TM) module, covering areas such as freight order management, transportation planning, and execution. Your role will involve creating detailed technical designs and documentation based on functional requirements and specifications. You will optimize ABAP code for high performance and reliability, as well as integrate SAP TM with other SAP modules and external systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency. Troubleshooting complex issues within the SAP landscape and providing advanced debugging support will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration is key as you will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions aligning with business needs. In addition, you will participate in system upgrades, patching, and enhancements to maintain an up-to-date SAP environment following industry best practices. Sharing knowledge and providing guidance to junior developers and team members for a growth-oriented environment is essential. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of ABAP development experience with a focus on Classic BOPF and SAP Transportation Management. Strong expertise in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP (OO-ABAP), in-depth knowledge of the Classic BOPF framework, and experience with SAP TM module are required. You should possess excellent problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and project management skills to deliver timely and quality output. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) is necessary. Preferred qualifications include SAP certifications in ABAP, SAP TM, or related areas, experience with other SAP modules like SD, MM, or EWM, understanding of logistics, supply chain, and transportation industry processes, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Confluence.,
